How do I cancel, or re-arrange, a booking?

Bookings may be cancelled and re-booked via the online booking system.

What is the cancellation policy for Castle Chiropractic Clinic?

We kindly request that cancellation, or re-arrangement, of a booked appointment is made at least 72 hours before the appointment is due.  Any appointments cancelled within 72 hours of the appointment, or failure to attend an appointment, will carry a £15.00 cancellation fee.  This is because the fee for rental of the room will be payable for any cancellations within this period. If you are unable to make an appointment due to self-isolation for Covid-19; please e.mail ben@castle-chiropractic.co.uk as soon as you know you will be unable to attend so we may arrange cancellation of your appointment without the usual cancellation fee.

Bedford – appointments are currently available in Bedford on Thursdays between 1200 and 2000; and on Sundays between 1200 and 1500.  Appointments in Bedford may be booked here.

Where can I park?

At Bedford Consulting Rooms; there is limited onsite parking for patients at the front of the building. Alternatively, St. Peter’s Street pay-and-display car park is adjacent to the premises.

What happens when I arrive for my appointment at Bedford Consulting Rooms?

There is an intercom system at the front door of Bedford Consulting Rooms.  Please press the number next to the card for Castle Chiropractic Clinic.  I will meet you at the door to take you to the treatment room.  Whilst there are chairs in the foyer; we ask at this time that you aim to arrive on-time to your appointment; or wait outside until your appointment time if you are early.

Are there toilet facilities available at Bedford Consulting Rooms?

Yes; toilet facilities are available for patients.

What should I wear to the appointment?

Chiropractic is a hands-on manual therapy.  Whilst most of the assessments can be performed through light clothing; please, where possible, either wear loose fitting clothes or sportswear to allow access for assessment and treatment.

Are modesty towels provided?

Towels will be available for draping patients, where applicable, however most assessment and treatment will not require this.

Will Ben be wearing personal protective equipment?

Yes; Ben will be wearing a disposable face mask at all times; and he will wear disposable gloves for your treatment.

Do I need to wear a face mask/covering when attending my appointment?

Whilst it is no longer mandated; we still ask that all patients wear a face mask but it is your choice.

What should I bring with me?

You should only bring essentials to the appointment.

How do I pay for my treatment?

Payment is due at the end of the treatment session.  Our preferred method of payment is by card.  We accept chip and pin and contactless payments with all major payment methods; including: Mastercard, VISA, Maestro, VISA Electron, American Express, Union Pay, Diners Club International, JCB, Discover, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

Is there disabled access at Bedford Consulting Rooms?

There is a ramp in the main entrance for disabled access.  Most treatment rooms are on the ground floor; however please advise us when booking if you are unable to use stairs so we may ensure you are seen in a ground floor room for your appointment.

Must I be referred by my GP or may I self-refer?

You may self-refer or be referred by your GP.  Chiropractors, like GPs, are primary care practitioners which means they are trained to recognise when chiropractic treatment will not help and onward referral to your GP is appropriate.
